Field Supervisor

The role!

As a Pro Level Field Supervisor, your main responsibility will be managing the day to day field operations and subcontractor labor. You are a leader, reliable, highly motivated, dedicated and career oriented. You must be able to give directions and follow protocols. You should have a minimum of 15 years experience in residential construction.

At Pro Level Construction we lead our clients through the entire build process beginning with design services, helping them navigate the permit process, and finally leading them through the build. We specialize in accessory dwelling units (ADUs), room additions, and whole house, kitchen, and bathroom remodels.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily operations of multiple job sites
  • Identify risks and issues beforehand and mitigate them
  • Read and understand plans, both Architectural and Structuraland, and other spec sheets
  • Estimate costs (labor & material) for changes to original SOW
  • Conduct jobsite meetings w/ crew leaders, clients, and subs
  • Responsible for leading and directing crew leaders to their highest performance
  • Anticipate material needs and coordinate ordering
  • Keep track of material orders & shipments
  • Coordinate the permit process with city planning departments
  • Schedule and direct inspections with city officials,government agencies and private agencies as required
  • Resolve problems as they arise regarding plans or specifications, conflicts with the architect, engineer and subcontractors
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed by employees and subcontractor crews. Safety meetings must be held regularly and adequately attended.
  • Maintain a weekly report, share project status (cost, schedule, etc) with others

Expectations:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a supervisory role
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a foreman/journeyman (carpenter preferred)
  • Previous employment with a residential construction general contractor or own business
  • Practical knowledge of and ability to understand specifications for all trades
  • Ability to read and understand plans, both Architectural and Structural
  • Experience in planning approval and building permit processes for remodeling and new construction projects
  • Excellent understanding of construction law and local codes
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Google apps
  • Valid CA drivers’ license with the ability to frequently drive and operate a vehicle
  • Owns vehicle (pickup truck preferred) and able to use it for work
  • Fluent in Written and Verbal English, Spanish is a plus
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Electrical Crew Lead

The role!

I’m looking for a crew leader whose expertise is in electrical. Your crew will be responsible for installing permanent backup residential generators that include an automatic transfer switch. Ideally you would have 7+ years of electrical experience. Demonstrated ability to lead a Crew is a bonus.

We have a full schedule of great projects coming up between Oakland and Walnut Creek and I’m looking to fill this full time position with a star player who possesses a strong work ethic, firm reliability, a positive outlook, and a desire to build the best.

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to high quality work in a fun and productive jobsite environment
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Comfortable with organizing project production while leading a 2-4 man crew
  • Great customer relation skills
  • Reliable truck and tools
  • Strong attention to job site safety for yourself and your team

Compensation will be based upon experience and skill level ($35/hr-$50/hr)

Interior Designer

The role!

As a Pro Level Interior Designer, you’ll be part of a collaborative team with complete control over the design. You’ll have a steady flow of projects and be responsible for the creation of an architectural and visual design that meets our client’s motivations, aesthetic, and budget expectations while keeping the design very “buildable".

The Interior Designer serves as the main customer contact throughout the design process, and additionally, follows the production of the project while collaborating with the build crew to find great design solutions for real-world building challenges.

We have a beautiful showroom with samples available to use to show our clients what they’ll be getting, and an ordering system set up to make procurement a breeze, so you’ll get to show off your skills and make a huge impact at one of the fastest growing design-build teams in the East Bay.

  • Manage the development of all interior design documents so they’re prepped and ready for permit submittals and production.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their motivations, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Coordinate with the production teams to clearly pass the clients’ design needs on so we deliver delightful results.
  • Conduct design meetings/presentations so the client knows that they’re getting their vision fulfilled.

Expectations:

  • Keep your finger on the pulse of new design trends, standards, and always be learning.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, or similar software (provided by Pro Level) with a strong ability to use best practices.
  • Final authority on a project in all things design-related.
