Project Manager / Field Supervisor

The role!

As a Pro Level Field Supervisor, your main responsibility will be managing the day to day field operations and subcontractor labor. You are a leader, reliable, highly motivated, dedicated and career oriented. You must be able to give directions and follow protocols. You should have a minimum of 15 years experience in residential remodeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit 3-5 job sites daily
  • Assist Crew Lead in resolving challenges on the job
  • Guide Crew Lead in looking ahead with scheduling phases of the project
  • Making materials list and placing orders
  • Communicate with clients, crew, office staff, sub-contractors, and city inspectors.
  • Coordinate subcontractors including selecting sub, ensure contracts in place, material acquisition, etc.
  • Identify risks and issues beforehand and mitigate them
  • Estimate costs (labor & material) for changes to original SOW
  • Conduct jobsite meetings w/ crew leaders, clients, and subs
  • Responsible for leading and directing crew leaders to their highest performance
  • Coordinate the permit process with city planning departments
  • Suggest solutions to discrepancies as they arise regarding plans or specifications, with the architect, engineer and designer
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed by employees and subcontractor crews. Safety meetings must be held regularly and adequately attended.

Expectations:

  • Must have 15+ years residential remodeling experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a foreman/journeyman
  • Practical knowledge of all sub-trades
  • Ability to read and understand plans, both Architectural and Structural
  • Experience in planning approval and building permit processes for residential remodeling projects
  • Excellent understanding of local building codes
  • Familiar with MS Office, G-Suite, and BuilderTrend a plus
  • Valid CA drivers' license
  • Fluent in Written and Verbal English, Spanish is a plus

Crew Lead

We are a residential remodeling company specializing in building ADU's, room additions and high end home remodeling in the East Bay and Central Contra Costa. We are offering a full-time position for a new hire seeking long term employment. We are searching for a Foreman with experience remodeling houses who can lead our projects from start to finish.

As a Foreman you will be working side by side with the crew that you are leading as well as supporting the administrative functionality of the work. You will oversee the quality, timing, and completion of the project. You will also train your crew members in skilled trades and monitor the work of the crew to ensure that the tasks are well carried out according to plan.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to read and understand plans, both Architectural and Structural.
  • Knowledge of California Building Standards Code.
  • Journeyman level skills in Residential Remodeling trades, including Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall, Tile, Painting, and Flooring.
  • Familiar with Construction Management software.

We are a residential remodeling company specializing in ADU's, room additions and high end home remodeling in the East Bay and Central Contra Costa. We are offering a full-time position for a new hire seeking long term employment with opportunities for growth. We are searching for a Skilled Helper to join our team.

As a Skilled Helper you will be working alongside one of our Crew Leads in general labor and skilled labor projects including Sitework, Demolition, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall, Tile, Painting, and Flooring. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe job site. You will also be receiving and inspecting delivered materials, servicing equipment, performing job site safety inspections and assisting in training general laborers.

To be successful as a Skilled Helper, you will have completed 5 years of apprenticeship work in residential construction trades and acquired suitable skills. An outstanding Skilled Helper should be hungry to expand their skill set and increase their level of expertise. You should also be willing to learn from other crew members and receive training to advance your skill sets wherever possible.

  • Duties Include:

Interior Designer

As a Pro Level Interior Designer, you’ll be part of a collaborative team with complete control over the design. You’ll have a steady flow of projects and be responsible for the creation of an architectural and visual design that meets our client’s motivations, aesthetic, and budget expectations while keeping the design very “buildable”.

The Interior Designer serves as the main customer contact throughout the design process, and additionally, follows the production of the project while collaborating with the build crew to find great design solutions for real-world building challenges.

  • Conduct meetings with potential and current clients, prepare design and merchandise contracts, and draft proposals and estimates.
  • Create residential design solutions for various project sizes, including space planning, hand sketching, cabinet layout, lighting solutions, tile design, color coordination, and product recommendations and selections.
  • Work with the Project Manager and field Leads to provide information, communicate on updates, and provide solutions.
  • Work with clients throughout the project to manage and track progress and ensure client satisfaction.
